PLEASE COME JOIN US TO SUPPORT MILITARY WORKING DOGS BY MARCHING 5 MILES OF BEAUTIFUL RAIL TRAIL IN ANDOVER TOWNSHIP, NEW JERSEY ON JUNE 27TH, 2026. THERE IS A ONE MILE FUN HIKE!!! THERE IS NO RUCK REQUIRED TO PARTICIPATE IN ANY EVENT, BUT MANY WILL HAVE A RUCK TO HONOR THE LOAD OUR SOLDIERS CARRY EVERY DAY TO ENSURE OUR FREEDOM IS PROTECTED. WE REQUEST THAT EACH PARTICIPANT CARRY AN AMERICAN FLAG. SMALL FLAGS WILL BE AVAILABLE DAY OF EVENT.

located in Charleston, West Virginia an all-volunteer non-profit that sends care packages to MWD teams deployed in global combat zones. Boosts moral with stateside military kennel visits. Promotes veteran causes and memorials, including recognition of retired military K9's. Hosts events to educate the public about the importance of MWD teams.

UNITED STATES WAR DOGS ASSOCIATION (USWDA) - USWARDOGS.ORG

based in Towson, Maryland, supports MWD, their handlers, and their families through various programs, including care packages for deployed teams, adoption assistance and a free prescription drug program for retired MWD's.

 

MILITARY WORKING DOG HERITAGE MUSEUM- MWDHERITAGEMUSEUM.ORG

located in Hartford, Tennessee focusing on preserving the history of America's military working dog teams to discover, curate, preserve and exhibit world-class displays of America's military working dog history and ensure that the legacy and Heritage of America's dog teams inspire future generations.

  • Dogs will be on site to educate on purposes of the Military working Dog.
  • These are public trails and dogs are allowed. 
  • We will be collecting food, toys, paper towels bleach and additional cleaning supplies for our local rescues.
